UK’s brewing company Wells & Young’s has announced the relaunch of the Scottish beer Younger’s Tartan Special in a new can format.
The Younger's Tartan brand, which was taken over by the company from Heineken UK in 2011, was previously sold in keg format.
Wells & Young's commercial director David Revell said the new can format has been introduced to give consumers an opportunity to enjoy their favorite brew wherever they are.
"It has been available in Morrison's for just three weeks and we are really pleased with the initial reaction from both retailers and customers who have been extremely enthusiastic and love the look of the new can," Revell said.
The company plans to roll out the product in new cans to stores across Scotland soon.
