The Production of C30 Models Is Stopped by Volvo in December 2012

Swedish car maker Volvo has confirmed its plans to halt the production of C30 hatchback in December 2012 in a bid to better place the brand for the future.

Prior to concluding the production of C30 model, the Swedish carmaker is planning to manufacture a Limited Edition model, which will be the last C30 models manufactured by the firm following six years of production.

The Swedish carmaker revealed that the C30 hatchback will be replaced by the new V40 that was unveiled at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland.

The new Volvo V40 will be offered in three trim levels, including the ES, SE and SE Lux, and will be provided with an option of five engines that include two petrol and three diesel engines.
