An Exhibition Showing The Latest Spring Summer 2014 (S/S14) Footwear Trends Has Opened

An exhibition showing the latest spring summer 2014 (S/S14) footwear trends has opened at the Casa de La Cultura (House of Culture) in the Spanish city of Villena in the community of Valencia.

According to a statement issued by the government of Villena, the exhibition titled ‘Fashion at your feet’, organized by the Association of Valencian Footwear Enterprises (AVECAL), is showing S/S14 collections of 70 footwear manufacturers, of which 60 belong to the cities of Elche and Elda, while the rest 10 are from the city of Villena.

At the opening of the exhibit, Mayor Juan Carlos Pedrosa expressed gratitude towards AVECAL for organizing the event, which is an excellent opportunity to showcase the advancements in the footwear sector of the city.

Marian Cano, general secretary of AVECAL, said the idea behind organizing the exhibition was to give the people of the city an opportunity to learn about new trends in footwear before these products hit the retail outlets, giving them a chance to explore the design and quality of footwear manufactured in Valencia.

Scheduled to be open till March 9, 2014, the exhibition aims at showcasing the know-how, quality and innovation as well as creativity and designs of the shoe-makers in the Spanish community of Valencia. The expo features trendy S/S14 collections of footwear for men, women and children.
