With effect from 1 January 2013, the Swedish timber and pulp concern Södra will take over the Swedish flooring manufacturer Föllinge Golv via its subsidiary Södra Interiör. Föllinge Golv produces 40,000 m² of solid-wood flooring per year and turns over roughly SKR10m with a work force of six. With this takeover, Södra Interiör will strengthen its flooring business.
Föllinge Golv is currently owned by Sten and Rikard Eriksson, who also head the company, and Rikard Eriksson will continue as CEO following the takeover. Other co-owners are the Swedish lumber producer Rödins Trä and the holding Persson Invest.
