LANXESS Will Increase Prices as High Level of Raw Material Costs

Specialty chemicals group LANXESS will increase prices due to ongoing continuous high level of raw material costs. Prices will raise in Europe, Middle East and Africa for Durethan base resin, film and extrusion grades by 0.15 Euro / kg effective February 1st, 2013.

The respective grades of the high-tech plastic Durethan are primarily used for the production of films for food packaging, industrial films, monofilaments, semi-finished products and as a raw material for compounding.
