Fresherized Foods, a US-based producer of refrigerated guacamole, has announced a new peel and serve tray package for its Wholly Guacamole, designed to cater to consumers looking for all natural dips with great taste and no preservatives.
According to the company, the trays have been created in response to customer requests for a more easy-open package.
In addition, the demand for Wholly Guacamole has increased significantly as consumers use avocado and guacamole as a condiment as well as a party dip and appetizer.
The new 8oz. and 16oz. trays will replace the existing 7oz. and 14oz. squeeze bag containers, which allows consumers to incorporate Wholly Guacamole products into meals.
Wholly Guacamole products are available in three flavor options - Classic, Spicy and Homestyle. The products are all natural, gluten free, contain no preservatives and are kosher certified.
Fresherized Foods marketing vice president Tracey Altman said: "Wholly Guacamole dips are packaged utilizing High Pressure Processing, a technique pioneered and developed by our brand founder, which allows us to ensure food safety and superior taste."
Wholly Guacamole products are available in grocer's refrigerated fresh produce or deli sections across the US.
