Car Charging Is Planning to Acquire The EV Pass

Car Charging, a provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging services, is planning to acquire the EV Pass, EV charging network provider with its Central New York Destination Location Network from Synapse Sustainability Trust in the US.

With the acquisition, CarCharging will get hold of destination locations of EV charging stations in Central New York, Syracuse, Rome, and surrounding areas that include New York shopping malls, institutions, entertainment venues and downtown commuter parking locations.

After receiving the regulatory approval and completing the acquisition, Synapse Sustainability Trust executive director Eckardt Beck will join CarCharging Board of Directors.

In addition, CarCharging will manage the pending New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) grant given to the EVPass for installing EV charging stations across the upstate of New York.

Both the companies use EV charging stations manufactured by ChargePoint that offer 240volts with 32amps of power to recharge an EV's battery.
