DuPont has introduced Solamet PV76x-series front-side PV silver paste specifically for use in PERC (passivated emitter and rear cell) crystalline silicon solar cells, according to DuPont Taiwan.
Taiwan-based maker Solartech Energy has adopted Solamet PV76x, Solamet PV56x back-side PV silver paste and Solamet PV36x PV aluminum paste for its Sapphire-series high-efficiency PV modules made of 60 PERC cells with an energy conversion rate of 19.6%, DuPont Taiwan said. A Sapphire PV module can output 286W, DuPont indicated.
