Sinopec Geophysical Corporation completed TOUAL 3D seismic acquisition project of approximately 3,753 square kilometers in Algeria on September 15, making the highest record of 3,055 shots in a single day.
The TOUAL project, located in Ouargla and Illizi of eastern central Algeria, was challenging as sand mountains, oil wells and oil & gas pipelines were throughout the survey area. The excellent coordination and organization of the operations allowed Sinopec to complete the project safely and efficiently, winning the recognition of owner Sonatrach.
