Cook Trading is recalling a batch of Cook 4 Portion Braised Beef in Brandy & Mushroom Sauce, as it is labeled incorrectly with beef bourguignon ingredient information, the UK Food Standards Agency (FSA) said.
The recalled product is Cook 4 Portion Braised Beef in Brandy & Mushroom Sauce of 1,080g featuring best before' end: 19 June 2014 and batch code: 13176B.
Cook Trading has withdrawn the affected product from sale and displayed notices in stores, explaining customers the reason behind the recall. No other Cook products are known to be affected.
The labeling error makes the product a possible health risk for people intolerant to milk or milk constituents or mustard.
Those who have purchased the product have been advised not to eat it and return it to the place of purchase for a full refund or replacement.
