Spokane Produce Has Recalled About 59lbs of Victor'S Sesame Hummus

Spokane Produce has recalled about 59lbs of Victor’s Sesame Hummus as it may be contaminated with Listeria Monocytogenes.

The product being recalled is 11oz labeled 'Victor - Toasted Sesame Hummus' featuring UPC 6 09722 76501 5, best by 12/29/13. It was distributed to retailers in Washington and Montana.

Consumers who have purchased the product have been advised not to eat it and instead return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

There have been no reported illnesses to date, associated with the consumption of the recalled product.

Food contaminated with Listeria Monocytogenes may not look or smell spoiled; however, consumption of such foods may cause Listeriosis, a foodborne illness.
