US-based insurance agency Neace Lukens has acquired Davis-Garvin Agency for an undisclosed amount.
A major insurer in the forest products industry, Davis-Garvin operates through four satellite offices located in Macon and Valdosta, Georgia; Pineville, Louisiana; and Flowood, Mississippi.
The acquisition of full service insurance agency will expand Neace Lukens' offices to 30 with more than 650 employees across Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Tennessee, Arizona, Georgia, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi and South Carolina, US.
Under the terms of the agreement, all the employees of Davis-Garvin will retain their current positions.
Neace Lukens president and COO Larry Schaefer said that the Neace Lukens will be complemented with Davis-Garvin's specialized focus on lumber and on forestry products.
Davis-Garvin president and CEO Mark Fryer said: "Neace Lukens has existing products and services that align with our specialized offerings, especially in the forest products industry, so this is a good fit for both."
