Jaguar is planning to develop an SVR version of its XE Sedan, which will compete against BMW M3 and Mercedes C63 AMG.
The car will feature 5.0-litre V8 engine which will generate 364kw of power, and will be able to speed from 0-60mph in four seconds, with top speed of 155mph.
To offer faster shifts of gears compared to other cars, Jaguar will used 8-speed automatic gearbox, and stiffer and lower suspension.
For improved traction the car maker has used electronically controlled slip rear differential and larger brakes.
According to Auto Express Jaguar will style the SVR with its new bespoke body kit, along with side skirts, redesigned rear bumper, flared wheel arches, new front bumper treatment and grille.
The luxury car maker is also planning to use an active exhaust system to reduce the engine noise.
