German car maker Porsche has announced that it is planning to replace chassis components of 918 Spyder model worldwide.
The company also announced that only 205 units were affected with the issue.
Porsche claims that the affected vehicles were manufactured in a certain time period, when defective parts were used from a delivery batch, and its functionality cannot be permanently guaranteed.
The problem was identified during the company's in-house quality inspection and it was addressed immediately.
Porsche is unaware of any problem related to the issue from customers up till now.
Porsche said: "The owners of the vehicles, which could be exactly traced, were contacted directly by their competent Porsche representatives.
"The workshop visit, which will take place by appointment at the onset of 2015, takes about two days to complete at no charge."
