The Machine Technology Allows Fast Use of Resources

Swedish food processing and packaging company Tetra Pak has signed a $2.5m agreement with Saudi Arabia-based Al Rabie Saudi Foods to install and field test its Tetra Prisma Aseptic 200 Sq filling line.

The Tetra Prisma Aseptic 200 Sq filling line technology from Tetra Pak offers advantages including packaging 24,000 juice cartons per hour.

According to Tetra Pak, the machine technology allows fast use of resources and can perform the job of three regular filling lines.

Tetra Pak Arabia managing director Jan Juul Larsen commenting on the partnership said: "The agreement between Tetra Pak and Al Rabieis another step supporting our vision to make food safe and available everywhere."

Tetra Pak Arabia, which supplied 6.7 billion packs in Arabia during 2011, has a major production facility in Jeddah and offices in GCC and Yemen.
