Saudi Will Establish a Pharmaceutical Factory in Sultan

On March 12, 2013, the Minister of industry said Shateta Booker pharmaceutical companies will spend 16 million dollars to build a pharmaceutical factory in Khartoum.

The Sudan Government plans to cancel the tax of pharmaceutical industry in the production of materials and packaging materials, in order to protect the domestic pharmaceuticals. The resolution is expected to be performed in the next period of time.

Osman called on investors to product injection drugs which Sudan had no, in order to meet the needs of the domestic market. It was expected that Sudan would open two intravenous fluids production plant the next period.
