According to the report, announced by Audi on March 12 that from now to 2015, the company will invest 11 billion Euros in the world.
Axel Strotbek, Audi’s CFO, said that from now to 2015, the average annual investment will be more than 3.5 billion Euros for the development of innovative technologies and expansion of production capacity and other aspects. Prior Strotbek said it would invest 13 billion Euros by 2016, and more than 2 billion Euros in the development of new products and technology every year.
In the field of personnel, Audi planned enrollment of 1,500 this year in Germany alone and would recruit 700 interns.
With the increasing investment, Audi will also launch a series of new car. Last week unveiled Audi A3 Sportback e-tron models at the Geneva auto show, the second half of this year will launch RS 6 Avant and RS 5 Cabriolet roadster, added to the RS 7 Sportback and RS Q3.
