Houston-based retailer Mattress Firm ranked No. 7 in Workplace Dynamics' annual National Top 150 Workplaces survey of employees.
Workplace Dynamics surveyed more than one million employees from 872 companies to create the list, using employee responses to survey questions about their workplaces to calculate the scores.
Employees at Mattress Firm rated their company highly across all categories and said they receive formal career training, their jobs met or exceeded their expectations, they felt appreciated, they were paid well for their work, and that they were confident about their futures at the company, officials said.
