Volkswagen AG, Europe's biggest automaker, said last Friday that automobile sales of Volkswagen, including cars and SUV, increased by 12.7 percent last year, which hit a new record of 5.74 million.
In December, sales of Volkswagen surged 30.6 percent, reaching the amount of 517,900. However, Volkswagen says the situation would not be rosy. "2013 will be a hard time."
"We will face new challenges", Christian Klingler, the sales executive said, "but we are prepared."
