German sports car manufacturer Porsche has commenced the testing of all engines of 911 GT3 vehicles of model year 2014.
The move is due to the engine damage occurred in two vehicles in Europe. These vehicles caught fire after the damage.
Porsche is notifying all the owners of affected vehicles directly and recommending that they stop using their vehicles.
It is also offering services to pick up the vehicles and take them to a Porsche Centre immediately. However, the company has not received any complaints regarding traffic accidents and no personal injuries.
Porsche Cars North America is the US importer of Porsche sports cars, including the Macan and Cayenne SUVs and the Panamera sports sedan.
