US-based August Schell Brewing has introduced new beer called Star of the North Berliner Weisse, under The Noble Star Collection series.
The new Berliner Weisse is brewed by using Pilsner and Wheat malts, as well as with German Ale yeast, Brettanomyces and Lactobacillus bacteria.
Star of the North is aged in cypress wood lagering tanks and comes with 3.5% ABV and 4 IBUs.
The Berliner Weisse includes the flavor of ripe lemons and apple juice with a touch of spice and brett character and can be mixed with a shot of sweet raspberry or woodruff syrup.
The new beer is stored in 60 US barrels and available in 12 x 750ML bottles.
Schell Brewing also produces Grain Belt Premium, Grain Belt Premium Light and Grain Belt Nordeast.
