German automaker Mercedes-Benz has introduced seven new versions of its A, B and CLA-Class for orders, which will be delivered beginning March 2014.
Of the seven new versions, the A 200 CDI 4MATIC and A 220 CDI 4MATIC are the first all-wheel-drive diesel models from the company. The models comply with the Euro 6 emissions standard.
Other features of these two models include power take-off to the rear axle, which is integrated into the 7G-DCT automated dual clutch transmission, and the rear-axle gear unit with integrated, hydraulically actuated multi-disc clutch.
The CLA 250 is coupe introduced with combined fuel consumption of 5.4l/100km and corresponding CO2 emissions of 125g/km. It offers CO2 reduction of 9g with 211HP (155 kW). It offers an output of 136HP (100 kW) and a maximum torque of 300Nm. It emits 102g of CO2/km with the seven speed DCT.
The company has also revamped its top diesel models including the A 220 CDI, B 220 CDI and CLA 220 CDI.
