Lenovo Group Limited (SEHK: 0992) gained net profit of USD 170 million, a year-on-year growth of 23%.
Meanwhile, the operating revenue totaled USD 8.79 billion, hiking 10%. The net cash reserve hit USD 3.1 billion by June 30.
It was the first time that Lenovo became the biggest PC provider in the world in the first quarter, with a recork-breaking market share of 16.7%, which is 1.7 percentage point higher than that in the same period of 2012. The company is also the second largest smart phone manufacturer, with the sales volume rising 121%.
