Italian company Sacmi has installed a complete line for the production of CSD caps (PCO1810) for Globe Soft Drinks production unit AST Beverage in Bangladesh, as part of a contract.
The new line has an output rate of 60,000 pieces an hour and comes with the 64-cavity continuous compression molding (CCM).
The Sacmi-made compression press, which has output rates of up to 1600 caps per minute, shows up on account of short cycle times and highly contained energy consumption.
Globe Soft Drinks aims to bolster and increase its market shares in Bangladesh where closure production falls short of effective demand, through the investment.
