Packaging and pressure sensitive materials supplier Bemis will report business segment information for its three divisions including US Packaging,Global Packaging and Pressure Sensitive Materials,as part of its segment reporting realignment.
According to the company,the expansion from two to three reportable segments reflects the Flexible Packaging segment separation into the US Packaging and Global Packaging business segments.
The US Packaging segment represents all food,consumer and industrial products packaging-related manufacturing operations that are located in the US.
All of the company's packaging-related manufacturing operations are located outside of the US and its global medical device and pharmaceutical packaging manufacturing operations are included in the Global Packaging business segment.
Bemis supplies packaging and pressure sensitive materials for food,consumer products,healthcare and other companies worldwide.
