US-based Iron Horse Development Company and Wheat Growers have entered into a memorandum of understanding to construct an agronomy retail center at the Iron Horse Development owned site.
The new Wheat Growers Agronomy Center will provide products and professional services to the growers of the cooperative in the Kimball area.
Iron Horse Development Board of Managers Eddie Hamilton said that the new center through this joint venture will provide technology and services to the upcoming generation.
The initial construction work at the center has begun and is expected to be operational in 2014.
Wheat Growers is a member-owned cooperative and all profits generated by Wheat Growers will support the trade and growers within the region.
