Recently,Baosteel and China International Marine Containers(Group)Co.,Ltd.strategic co-exchange high-level annual meeting is held in Shenzhen.The two sides sign"2013 Baosteel-CIMC strategic cooperation memorandum".Both sides assert that they will further deepen project cooperation mode,be jointly committed to collaborative innovation and achieve mutual benefit and success.Baosteel Group Co.,Ltd.,general manager He Wenbo and CIMC president Mai Boliang attend the annual meeting and inaugurate the"Baosteel-CIMC joint laboratory"and give awards to 2012 excellent cooperation projects such as"low-nickel stainless steel cooperative research and development".Baosteel Co.,Ltd.deputy general manager Wang Jing,CIMC deputy Party secretary Li Ruiting and the two sides'relevant units responsible personnels attend the annual meeting.
Since 2009 when Baosteel and CIMC signed comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement,the two sides have formed a mechanism of annual high-level strategic cooperation exchange.With the deepening of exchanges,Baosteel and CIMC's cooperation deepens and cooperation areas expand from iron and steel industry to diverse industries.This year,the two sides have conducted 23 cooperation projects,among which,"low-nickel stainless steel cooperative research and development","container scrap centralized recovery","energy and chemical equipment supply and CIMC centralized settlement"project achieve good cooperation results.
At the meeting,"2012 cooperation results final report"is released,"stainless steel new steel grades R&D results shared cooperation agreement","next generation container board cooperative development agreement"and"Baosteel-CIMC joint laboratory protocol"are signed.The two sides carry out exchange on next year's global macroeconomic and steel industry situation,CIMC strategic planning and next year's cooperation plan.The excellent cooperation project units introduce cooperation experience at the meeting.
The cooperation memorandum is signed for further wider and deeper development based on the consolidation of past cooperations.The two sides will deepen cooperation in steel research and development,finance and financial services,CIMC product sales and promotion and steel industry related areas joint cooperation.The joint laboratory provides a platform for the two sides'cooperation in research and development and joint promotion in container industry and special vehicle industry steel innovation.
Mai Boliang says in his speech that Baosteel and CIMC's joint efforts enable cooperation results,and he hopes that the two sides will expand the depth and breadth of cooperation based on win-win principle.The two sides'cooperation potential is great.CIMC requires varieties of steel,many of which depend on imports.CIMC looks forward to strengthening cooperation with Baosteel in steel varieties'upgrading towards energy conservation and environmental protection.
He Wenbo says in the speech that CIMC leads the market and Baosteel should follow the customer closely and meet its needs.Strengthening research and developing new products have strategic significance for Baosteel.In the next phase,Baosteel will adhere to the development strategy with steel industry as the essence,coordinated development of related industries,creation of high-end supply chain,optimization of industrial structure.Baosteel and CIMC mutually support each other and are also mutual customers.In future there is great cooperation space.
