Germany based Ineos is likely to undertake a routine cleaning operation at its Acrylonitrile (ACN) plant in March 2013 and will be off-stream for a week.
A Ineos company official informed fibre2fashion that, “Line No-3 of the ACN plant which is located in Cologne will be shutdown for a routine clean-up in March 2013 and will remain shut for a period of around 7 days.”
The Company operates two ACN lines in Cologne. Line No-2 has a production capacity of 100,000 tons per year and line No-3 has 240,000 tons per year.
