As part of the agreements, Epistar also licensed certain AlGaInP LED patents to Toshiba. The agreements recognize the value of Toshiba’s AlGaInP LED patent portfolio, and are expected to bring benefits for Epistar’s product development and enhance its patent portfolio further within the field of AlGaInP LED technologies.
