UK-based food manufacturer Atkins & Potts has selected a new 200ml bespoke glass jar design for its range of condiments, jellies, relishes, chutneys and mayonnaise.
The jar, which features a deep twist-off neck finish, has been created by glass packaging solutions provider Beatson Clark.
Atkins and Potts co-owner Nicola Young said that earlier the company had two different jars and its customers liked certain aspects of each.
"They liked the clean sides with no strong shoulders of one of the jars but preferred the shorter, wider jar which was easier to get a spoon into," Young added.
Atkins and Potts products are available at delicatessens and farm shops across the UK and exported to the US, Hong Kong, Singapore, Germany and elsewhere.
