LEGO Star Wars is launching its first Yoda Chronicles experiential tour this week.
The first event takes place on Saturday, March 30th at Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent.
The Yoda Chronicles Tour will visit major UK shopping centres throughout Easter including Westfield's Shepherd's Bush and The Trafford Centre in Manchester. It has its own Twitter hashtag at #LEGOYodaBuild.
A TV screening area will showcase some of the latest LEGO Star Wars mini movies, while visitors will be invited to help build a 4ft LEGO model of Yoda himself, using thousands of green bricks.
The tour will also include a green screen allowing children - big and little - to wield their very own lightsaber to do battle with a LEGO General Grievous (see image below).
There is the chance to meet a life size LEGO Darth Vader and Storm Trooper. Photo mementos will also be handed out.
Jedi Master Yoda will release a series of Chronicles from the Jedi Archives' Holocron vault, teaching budding Jedis "how to use the LEGO Force for good and how to stay away from the dark side". These will appear on Cartoon Network and the LEGO Star Wars website.
"The Yoda Chronicles Tour allows us the opportunity to engage with LEGO enthusiasts and LEGO Star Wars fans," said LEGO UK Brand Manager Justin Clasby.
"The Tour will encourage children and families to build together and introduce them to the new and exciting Yoda Chronicles that will unveil LEGO Star Wars secrets throughout 2013."
LEGO Star Wars launched in 1999 and is the number two Star Wars licence in the UK.
