Automobile manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has launched the new H-Series Xylo sports utility vehicle (SUV) in Mumbai, India.
The vehicle is powered by the new mHawk engine mated to five-speed manual transmission that generates an output of 120ps and 280NM of torque, while offering fuel consumption of 14.02kmpl.
M&M Automotive Division chief executive Pravin Shah said, "The addition of the world class mHawk engine will further boost its performance and take it a notch higher in its segment."
According to the company, the new vehicle is compliant with the BSIV regulations and is available in India.
The new SUV comes in three variants including the H4 with ABS option, H8 with ABS and airbag option and the H9 version, which comes with voice command technology (VCT), cruise control and digital drive assist system.
All the variants of the vehicle feature ABS with EBD, dual airbags, extra stability technology Suspension (EST) and reverse parking assist.
