Ternium Siderar Plans to Restart The No.2 Blast Furnace

According to report, Argentina’ steelmaker Ternium Siderar that the company plans to restart the No. 2 blast furnace at its Siderar operation in Argentina in the first quarter of 2013.

In fact, the company has participated all related procedure for setting up its No.2 BF.

In the meantime, the company’s No. 1 BF has run full capacity since the No. 2 BF was idled.

Nevertheless, the furnace No. 2, once it becomes operational, blast furnace No. 1 will go back to its regular production pace.

In addition, these two BFs is able to contribute an annual steel production capacity to 3.89 million tons.
