EnWave Corporation has announced that Milne Fruit Products has begun production of commercially saleable whole fruit products using EnWave's Radiant Energy Vacuum (REV) technology.
The new products, which are produced at Milne Fruit Products' plant in Nampa, Idaho, include blueberries, raspberries and blackberries in the whole fruit and powder form.
According to Milne Fruit, its whole fruit products are available in several moisture ranges from crunchy to chewy, offering a wide scope of applications from hot and cold cereals to baked goods, trail mixes, granola bars, and baking mixes.
In May 2011, EnWave signed a commercial license deal with Milne Fruit Products, US, to supply Radiant Energy Vacuum (REV) technology, which is used for the dehydration of a variety of specified fruit products.
