Solid State Supplies will host a free one-day technical workshop, in collaboration with Digi, on Android application development based on the Digi ConnectCore Wi-i.MX53 processor.
The workshop will take place on Thursday 31st January 2013, at the distributor’s premises in Redditch, UK.
The morning session will set the scene with an overview of the iDigi cloud-computing platform and Digi’s embedded solutions for wireless applications.
This will be followed by an introduction to the Android software platform and application development. The Eclipse-based DigiESP development environment will also be explained, incorporating an active session on writing and debugging an application.
In the afternoon, there will be a fully interactive hands-on tutorial on developing with the new Digi ConnectCore Wi-i.MX53 JumpStart Kit for Android.
