UK based car manufacturer Bluebird is planning to launch its two new electric vehicles on 28 September 2013 during the Sustainable MotoExpo event at the National Motor Museum, in Beaulieu.
The two cars include the Bluebird DC50 electric sports-car and Bluebird GTL electric race car.
Bluebird DC50 is expected to be equipped with an electric powertrain that generates maximum output of 360hp, while offering a transit range of about 200miles.
According to the company, the DC50 is expected to offer an equal acceleration compared to that offer by Porsche.
The new two-door coupe is expected to feature electrically operated scissor doors.
DC50 is said to be a limited edition vehicle with 50 Bluebird electric sports cars built in order to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Donald Campbell's land and water speed records in 2014.
