The Dutch Faber Halbertsma Groep (FHG) is to close its production site in Grou and transfer production to the remaining three Dutch sites in Assen, Hasselt and Espel. As a result of the concentration of production operations at only three sites, CEO Ingrid Faber expects to see a noticeable improvement in production and logistics processes. The closure will affect roughly 70 of the workforce, for most of whom jobs at other FHG sites have already been found.
