Corrugated Packaging's Application of Adidas

US-based Adalis, a subsidiary of H.B. Fuller Company, a leading global adhesives provider, will introduce patent pending High Modulus Sesame Tape on 28-31 October at Pack Expo 2012 in Chicago.

The innovation debut will display to attendees a first look of how the new tape reinforcement technology addresses a range of challenges of produce distribution.

Adalis global business director Peter Lockey said the new High Modulus Sesame Tape is the result of experience of developing reinforcement technology for the packaging industry along with its understanding of produce packaging needs and challenges.

"This is a proven fiber technology that will help our customers move forward with confidence that their boxes, trays and bins will hold up better even in the most challenging environments," Lockey said.

High Modulus Sesame Tape is inspired by Adalis vision to help its customers reduce losses from damaged fruit and product claims with ease of transition to more eco-friendly corrugated packaging.

With High Modulus Sesame Tape, produce trays maintains strength through the distribution chain due to reduced bottom sag, improved stacking longevity up to 50% enhanced bulge resistance.
