Unipex Group, through its wholly owned Canadian subsidiary, Unipex Solutions Canada, has acquired Debro Pharma from Debro Chemicals.
The acquisition of Debro Pharma will expand Unipex Solutions Canada's product offering to pharmaceutical manufacturers in Canada and the US.
Following acquisition, Debro Pharma will continue to operate under its current name, but will gradually include the Unipex trademark.
Unipex Group CEO Patrice Barthelmes said the acquisition of Debro Pharma allows the company's North American operations to benefit from the valuable resources joining its sales and regulatory teams and to offer a whole new range of products to the customers.
Debro Chemicals president and CEO Bill Heise said the divestment of Debro Pharma is consistent with the strategic planning process, focused on expanding and strengthening the distribution business in Canada.
