It’s reported that Jindal Stainless, the largest stainless steel producer in Indian announced a consolidated net loss of INR8.42 billion for the fiscal year 2012/13 ended on March 31st, 2013. Jindal Stainless stated that the net loss was caused by slowdown in global economy, dumping from China and a slow ramp-up of its operation its Odisha works. It’s learned that the company’s odisha works’ monthly output is at 45,000 tons recently, much lower than its full capacity of 67,000 tons.
