In November, Chile’s imports & exports value was USD 8.99 billion, down18.5% by year. Exports value was USD 4.45 billion, down 25.4% and imports value was USD4.54 billion, down 10.5%.The trade deficit was USD 90 million, down 110.4%.
From January to November, imports & exports value between Chile and China was USD 26.87 billion, down 5.8%. Chile’s exports value was USD 15 billion, down 9.3%. It accounted for 26.2% of Chile’s total exports, up 2.0%. Chile’s imports from China reached USD 11.87 billion, down 1.0%. It accounted for 22.7% of total imports, up 2.7%.
Chile’s trade surplus with China was USD 3.13 billion, down 31.4%.
Up to November, China has become the largest market for Chile’s exports and the largest import source of Chile.
