According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute, Turkey exported 714,035 tonnes of rebar in October rising by 6.7% from a month ago and increasing by 11.6% YoY.
The country's export revenues generated by rebar totaled US$428.9 million, up by 4.5% MoM while falling by 2.1% YoY.
In the first 10 months of this year, Turkey's exports of rebar totaled 7 million tonnes increasing by 25.1% YoY. The export revenues of rebar amounted to USD 4.4 billion soaring by 19.5% YoY.
In the given period of time, the UAE was the largest importer of the Turkish rebar with 804,986 tonnes decreasing by 26.3%; Saudi Arabia was the second largest one with 570,636 tonnes jumping by 2.8 times and the US was the third largest one with 415,423 tonnes soaring by 115% all compared to that in the same period of a year ago.
