Business Line reported that Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited has reported 5% rise in turnover in November to INR 1,085 crore over the same month last year.
RINL said "The iron and steel sales volume registered a growth of 6% during the month. Pig Iron sales also registered a growth of 48%."
RINL said it has intensified thrust for higher sales through its rural network which saw a growth of 59% during the month.
It added "On the production front also, crude steel recorded a growth of three per cent supported by a growth in production of hot metal and saleable steel."
