According to data released by Brazil’s foreign trade ministry (MDIC), the country’s exports of steel pipes and tubes totaled 14.618 tons in April, slumping by 49% from a month ago. In April, Netherlands was the largest importer of the Brazilian steel pipes and tubes with 3,035 tons; Singapore was the second largest one with 2,988 tons. Meanwhile, Brazil’s exports of seamless tubes totaled 11,239 tons, decreasing by 56%; those of welded tubes were at 3,379 tons, rising by 3%, both compared to those in March.
