UAE Started Recovering an Iranian Registered Cargo Ship

An unidentified official said that the United Arab Emirates started recovering an Iranian registered cargo ship that sank December 28th in stormy seas carrying a heavy load of fiberglass.

The report said that 6 crew members were rescued by police helicopters off the coast of the UAE’s emirate of Umm Al Quwain. The vessel, named Al Jasourah, had left Sharjah and was headed to Iran when the accident occurred at 10:30am local time.

According to the report, the 6 sailors were transferred to Al Quwain Hospital where two were treated for injuries.
