From January to December In 2015, Germany’s imports & exports volume was USD 2379.77 billion, down 11.9% by year according to Eurostat. The exports volume was USD 1329.51 billion, down 11% and imports volume was USD 1050.25 billion, down 13%. The trade surplus was USD 279.26 billion, down 2.7%.

In December, Germany’s imports & exports value was USD 179.85 billion, down 8.7% by year. Exports value was USD 100.41 billion, down 8.7% and imports value was USD 79.44 billion, down 8.7%. The trade surplus was USD 20.97 million, down 8.6%.

From January to December, Imports & exports value of 2015 between Germany and China was USD 156.28 billion, down 13.2%. Germany’s exports value was USD 79.70 billion, down 19.8%. It accounted for 6.0% of Germany’s total exports, down 0.7%. Germany’s imports from China reached USD 76.57 billion, down 5.1%. It accounted for 7.3% of total imports, up 0.6%.

From January to December, the trade surplus with China was USD 3.13 billion, down 83.3%.

Up to December, China has become the fifth largest market for Germany’s exports and the third largest import source for Germany.
