Most of Taiwanese Construction Users Begin Their New Rebar Purchasing Activity for Stocks

Because of the coming Chinese New Year vacation, most of Taiwanese construction users have started their new rebar purchasing activity for stocks. Feng Hsin, one of the major steel long product manufactures in Taiwan said this situation helps its rebar shipping quantity to rise from a month ago and the number in this December rebar has risen to more than 65,000 tons. Feng Hsin indicated that the Taiwanese government's summer time power limited policy had caused its production to reduce in the third quarter but its production quantity had jumped to the normal level since early October. Meanwhile, Feng Hsin's said its rebar shipping quantity may cut again in this January. About 40% of Feng Hsin's sales come from rebar business and the rising shipping quantity in the fourth quarter may also help its sales revenue to improve.
