Reuters reported that Constellium's industrial sites in Burg, Crailsheim, Landau and Singen, Germany have passed successfully the ISO 50001 energy management system certification audit conducted by DEKRA and DQS, two certification bodies reputed worldwide. This important achievement is representative of the company's commitment to sustainable development.
ISO 50001, the international standard on energy management, drives the attention of industrial companies to lay greater emphasis on increasing their energy efficiency.

Promoting a thorough approach to deploy its sustainability strategy, Constellium recently joined the Carbon Disclosure Project through which it transparently discloses its carbon footprint and strategy related to climate change and environmental impact. Constellium is also one of the founding members of the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative along with other leading producers and users through the aluminium value chain which aims to create a standard for sustainable, social and environmental practices through a multi stakeholder approach within the industry.
Constellium's facilities in Burg, Crailsheim and Landau are specialized in soft alloys activities. They supply German and Central European markets with aluminium extrusion profiles that are available in both small and large cross sections. Constellium manufacturing plant in Singen is highly reputed for its high grade cold mills, integrated hot and cold rolling line and one of the largest extrusion presses in the world.
