Economic Times reported that copper prices edged higher by INR 2 per kg on the local non-ferrous metal market today on increased industrial demand. Traders said increased industrial demand mainly helped copper prices to strengthen.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap added INR 2 to INR 419 per kg.
The following are metal rates per kg: Zinc ingot 115-119, nickel plate 1,049 to 1,052, gun metal scrap 227, bell metal scrap 229, copper mixed scrap 419, chadri deshi 285.
