Japan’s exports of stainless steel flat products totaled 72,570 tons in March, increasing by 27.3% from a month ago but falling by 16.1% year on year, according to Ministry of Finance. In the given period of time, the country’s exports of stainless steel products amounted to 182,956 tons, decreasing by 10.8% year on year.
In the given period of time, Korea was the largest importer of the Japanese stainless steel flat products with 46,359 tons, falling by 3.8%; Taiwan was the second largest one with 31,392 tons, decreasing by 14.8%, both compared to those in the same period of a year ago.
